How to lose excess weight for good?

Do you want to lose excess weight for good?

If you answered YES, then answer the following question.

Are you committed to losing excess weight for good?

If you answered YES, but interpreted these as the same question, there's a difference.

There is a big difference between wanting and committing. Wanting something - doesn't require action towards a desired goal or outcome. Committing requires action.

Wanting doesn't require action.

I want a lot of things, and I've taken no action, so I have no results to show for it.

You can want to lose weight your whole life and nothing happens.

But when you're committed to losing weight, that's when you require of yourself to take action. Committing to something, like weight loss, requires action.

Meal Prep - taking action
Meal Prep - taking action

Committing requires action.

Action can look like, making a meal plan for the week, pre-deciding what you'll eat and not eat, and then following through, even when things don't go as planned, because you've pre-decided, and you've committed to being a slim, fit and healthy woman.

When my clients make a plan, and they follow through, their commitment leads to action and they produce desired results. Scale goes down, their clothes fits better, they feel lighter and more energized. This works for real women, they see real results.

So to lose weight for good, commitment is required.

You are unlikely to lose weight with moderation or mostly eating healthily; if that worked, you would have lost excess weight by now. Most of us have tried that approach by the time we hit our 40s. Even if it worked temporarily in the past, results didn't last.

What does work is to pre-decide and follow through, to commit.

If that sounds counter intuitive, it's because you think it will be restrictive and it will be hard. But the truth is that it's easier because it reduces decision fatigue.

What's harder is decision fatigue, that entails thinking, should I eat this, I really want to eat this, but I know I shouldn't ....and on and on, it's exhausting and confusing for you mind and your body, -this makes weight loss so much harder.

Just think, how much energy and time have you spent thinking about your weight so far in your life?

Answer this question and be honest; you may be surprised and sad that all that precious life time has been wasted.

It's freeing to pre-decide, show up, and mute the constant mental chatter by committing, and it doesn't make you vain or shallow for wanting to feel lighter and healthier. You are an adult woman, you can decide and commit. It's your life, it's your body, it's your health.

Pre-Decide What You will Eat and Enjoy Food as Fuel
Pre-Decide What You will Eat and Enjoy Food as Fuel

Committing to eating healthy doesn't mean that you're restricting yourself. It means that you're not using food as entertainment or emotional support.

Instead, it means using food as fuel, like it's designed by nature, and how the body is evolved to use it. Simple, and intuitive.

You're committing to acting like a slim, fit, healthy woman VS wanting to be one.

You are taking care of yourself physically, emotionally and mentally without negative consequences of overeating or having excess weight from unnecessary food when you commit.

Once you've lost excess weight you're free to create bigger, more important, and intuitively aligned life on your terms.

Instead of using life energy to think about food, you're gaining time back, that you used to spend thinking, worrying, hating your body; because you've lost the excess weight for good. Instead you can use that energy to create a life on your terms. This is how you lose excess weight and keep it off, by committing and taking action, it's the ultimate freedom.

To declare your commitment, take action by booking your Free Health and Nutrition Consult, I can help you look at your food and how to modify it to fuel your body for energy, pre-decide what you'll eat, and provide real actionable accountability.
