These overnight oats are a wonderfully way to start your morning with a nutritious breakfast. They're loaded with Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds and Sunflower Seeds, all nutrient packed with fiber, protein, essential minerals and vitamins. These Morning Glory Oats takes a few minutes to assemble, and whola they're ready for breakfast the next morning.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Yields: 1 Serving
1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flax seeds (flax meal)
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp dried cranberries, raisins or other dried fruit
1 cup of almond milk (enough to cover the oats)
Optimal serving suggestions - add fresh berries, and date syrup on top
Additional serving suggestions - add superfoods granola for extra crunch
Combine oats, cinnamon, dried fruit and seeds in glass jar (mason jar works well).
Slowly add almond milk, stirring.
Cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, stir the oats and add more more milk if needed.
Top with fresh berries and for extra sweetness add date syrup, and for extra crunch add superfoods granola.
